چکیده

Concrete is the second-most-used substance after water, and more than six billion tons of cement are produced each year. As part current investigation for new innovations in concrete as well to decrease aggregate waste, an experimental assessment on self-compacting with varied percentages coarse recycled was conducted. The major objective investigate use effects next generation concretes. environment under a great deal stress result considerable increase trash during construction demolition over past few years, together rise demand building materials. result, has been encouraged, which not only enables efficient natural resources throughout their life cycles but also contributes environmental protection. This study employs (RCA) varying percentage replacements (NCA) from 0% 100% increments 20% production (SCC) grade 40. Super-plasticizer applied order achieve SCC flow properties at dose dependent weight. At 28, 56, 90 days old, testing split tension compressive strength were performed animals. It shown that up 40% may be used create without noticeably decreasing durability.

An Experimental Investigation of Using Recycled Aggregate in Concrete

One of the major challenges of our present society is the protection of environment; with respect to this some of the important elements are reduction of natural raw materials and consumption of waste materials. The recycled aggregate sample of size 20mm which is the maximum size of aggregate in reinforced cement concrete is collected from demolished structures in our surrounding areas and the ...

Experimental Investigation on Self Compacting Concrete Using Quarry Dust

This study presents an experimental investigation on self-compacting concrete (SCC) with fine aggregate (sand) replacement of a Quarry Dust (QD) (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and addition of mineral admixtures like Fly Ash (FA) and Silica Fume (SF) & chemical admixtures like super plasticizers (SP). After each mix preparation, 45 cubes specimens and 45 cylinders specimens are cast and cured. The sp...

Experimental Study on Thermal Conductivity of Self-Compacting Concrete with Recycled Aggregate

The research focuses on the use of recycled aggregate (RA), from waste pieces generated during production in precast plants for self-compacting concrete (SCC) manufactured with a double sustainable goal: recycle manufacturing waste (consumption) and improvement of the thermal properties of the manufactured product (energy efficiency). For this purpose, a mechanical study to ensure technical fea...

this research aims at answering the questions about translation problems and strategies applied by translators when translating cultural concepts. in order to address this issue, qualitative and quantitative study were conducted on two groups of subjects at imam reza international university of mashhad. these two groups were assigned as beginner and advanced translation students (10 students). ...

Assessing relationships among properties of demolished concrete, recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate concrete using regression analysis.

Recycled demolished concrete (DC) as recycled aggregate (RA) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is generally suitable for most construction applications. Low-grade applications, including sub-base and roadwork, have been implemented in many countries; however, higher-grade activities are rarely considered. This paper examines relationships among DC characteristics, properties of their RA and...
